About Universal Literacy (ULit)
Universal Literacy Initiative was created in 2016.
The goal of ULit is to ensure that all students are reading on grade level by the end of second grade.
Specifically, at least two-thirds of students will be reading on grade level within six years (2022) and all students will reach that goal by 2026.
Ms. Vladimirova has been working with teachers in grades K-2, supporting them in applying best research-based practices to teach students literacy acquisition.
